Karla was laas naweek weg op 'n kerkkamp, wat sy baie geniet het. Regte cool plek, so ons sal ook hopelik binnekort daar kamp vir 'n naweek.

Bokke v All Blacks - Braai time in preparation

So, the Bokke came close, and we were OK with that. They played an awesome game and it was well worth staying up and watching. The braai before-hand was lekker too, and as always, the Bann family were great company. We had some beer, some Bundy, but then switched to coffee's before the game began. Serious stuff this rugby ;-)

Halloween is almost here. Not something we "do"; just the kids having fun.

 

It was only a doll, but Eugene did not want to go any closer. Silly Billy.

Spent the morning chilling in Leederville, which has a great coffee shop culture, and ended up at Leederville Camera House (as you do...).

Omgeegroep, nou gaan ons braai!

Na 'n wille week by die werk was dit lekker om gistraand 'n klomp van ons nuwe vriende oor te he vir 'n braai. Die twee Weber's het soortvan by-gebly, en die vuurtje later in die aand, die perfekte weer en afwesigheid van mozzies was great. Danie Ka vir al jou moeite deur die dag X.

Ons was almal lekker honger! Ons het net gebid, en sekondes later begin wegle!

Steak, boerie en Amelia Park lam, mmmm!

....al daai slaai was 'n eye-blind. Hy het net die vleis geeet :-)

Die eetkamer tafel het al baie, baie kuier-mense om hom gehad.
Ons is dankbaar dat die Here ons almal so aanhoudend seen, met ons "ou" en nuwe vriende (familie).

A quick sosatie braai and back-yard footy as the Hawks take the AFL Grand Final

OK, so I will probably buy a Hawks jumper this week. The Eagles played even worse (hard to believe) than the Dockers...eisch!

After a hectic last-weekend, and a braai at Louis & Susan last night, we opted for a quiet one at home today.

Mushrooms, apricots, red-pepper and lamb.
