The Weber Q chapter begins...

So, it's official, I now braai on gas...my mates in the North are gonna give me plenty of grief.

Anyway, it works like a charm, so what is one to do? Karin also bought me the "Q Trivet", and it is a revelation for "baking" or roasting things. Worth every penny.

The pics below are only from my second run at it, but the parallel's with the Kettle Weber are there, so I reckon I'm there, or thereabouts.

What can one say? Woes nice.

Bread #1 on the pizza stone...

...and #2 out of a bread pan. Both 100% perfect (baked on the Q Trivet).

The boys all cleaned up and wrapped up for a well deserved nap :-)

Sandri also made a turn, and soon the kids were out-front on the skateboard.

Geno giving it his best shot and doing very well.

Star trails over the house (22 minute exposure at f/6.3)

Pretty cool I reckon...

A cool image taken over 22 minutes with my prime lens set at f/6.3 (ISO 100). Sharp and crisp.

Earlier the same evening at ~9pm. It was still pretty warm and tomorrow (and most of the week) expected
to top 40 degrees, or get close to it. Just look how "muddy" this ISO1600 image looks like compared

to the ISO100 one above. Blahg!

Karla and Eugene,..... well, um, being Karla and Eugene (and I am sitting down so quickly it blurred, haha).
