Sunshine stroll around the Swan River. Beautiful day.

The Swan River and Perth CBD visible at right. This is near Point Walter, with Karin and the kids enjoying the sun.

Concentration! But, he's getting it. Big boy!

What is it by throwing stones? Good fun though...

Eugene's first "disco"!

He loved it!! He and his mate, Philip, ruled the dance floor (almost :-)). All photo's shot at ISO3200...

Inside the venue, near Rob's house! Cool for kids.

Philip (left) and Eugene getting into the mood. It took a little while, haha!

We are sooooo proud!

Karla & her Netball team, the Kardinya Breakers

Karla and her team-mates played a great game today. Unfortunately they lost by a single point, but it was a hard-fought game. The equalizing goal went in part of a second after the final whistle! Darn!! Here are two photo's of her team, and I'll embed a video soon, so please look back in an hour or two to view it.

Me, Gene and some general pics

Eugene and I outside our house on Saturday morning. Karla went to netball, but the poor girl was sick later in the day.

The new, thinner me. I know it's vain, but I am proud of sticking to it. The shirt is the same as one I sent to Karin's brother
in South Africa; him being an avid angler.

Eugene, with chocolate muffin left-overs in his teeth and a glint in his eyes.

Bacon-and-egg for dinner. Eugene LOVES it, Karla tolerates it, haha!

The closest thing to a Savannah Dry (South African cider) you can buy in Oz. Very nice.

Gene this morning before I left for work. He still regularly crawls into our bed at about 5am, stealing Karin away from me :-)

Karla turns 12! Veels geluk on prinses!!

Karla, having her last chicken-and-chips at BLEND, as this is only for under-12's!
Blend Cafe is on Marmion Str and a great spot for a meal and coffee.

The woodfired oven in the background. I had chilli-mussels and Karin had a super-delicious
pizza, called a Little Red riding hood (or something like that).

Geno-bobeno.

Last Friday we drove down to Cottesloe beach. It was raining and we sat in the car enjoying our
coffee (kids had milkshakes), listening to country music with the waves breaking in the background.

Silly-season; just before bed-time he normally turns into a silly-billy.

Coffee from Gino's in Freo. Mmmm!

Just before Netball this morning. The sun was a little bright, thus the squinty-eyes.

Checking Karla's nails before the game.
