RC Off-Road Track and Church Bazaar

The off-road track which will host the State Championships at the end of April. I joined the
club (West Coast Model Rally Club) and have also entered the championships in the
Short Course Truck class. Now I am just waiting for my brushless system to arrive before
hitting the track for much needed practise time. In between all this I need to get my knee
 operation out of the way...

My SC Truck with the new club sticker on (yes, I am member number 130 for
the 2011 season; big club!)

A panorama taken at the Church Bazaar yesterday. Well in excess of 1,000 people were
there at any one time. I was surprised by the numbers. Karla also picked up $40+ worth
of tickets, so for once she shouted us some food and drinks, haha!

Math, Karin and Helen enjoying some beer/wine at Math's house yesterday. We were
collecting the dinning room set, and eneded up enjoying some snags & pork rib. If we
did not have another appointment in the arvo we would probably still have been there, haha!
Thanks Math & Helen for the "lekker" meal, beer, wine and all Karla's lovely dolls!

The view from one of the Mathersul balconies. Just beautiful.

Math's barbie with some of the martinated pork rib cooking and smelling great.
If you look at right you'll see some Marina Braai Salt from P.E.

Karla with one of the beautiful dolls she got from Auntie Hellen.

At 14h30 we had to be down at South Beach for a South African picnic. In the end only Greg
& Briar turned up, but we had a really relaxing time, swimming, playing cricket and just
 chilling out.

ilCibo; the new Ujazi!

So, after 8 months in WA we've found "our" coffee shop and also the place to buy fresh spices, cakes etc. The coffee shop is called "ilCibo" and the spice/cake shop is called Kakulas Sisters, both on Market Street in Fremantle (Freo to the locals). We can highly recommend both and suggest leaving your wallet at home lest you spend way to much dosh, haha!

Eugene enjoying a babycino at ilCibo.

Eugene with his new Buzz Lightyear (at right). He has been "saying hello" and talking to the
toy for months-and-months. We finally relented and he has been kissing and hugging it ever
since we free'd Buzz. Too very  cute!
