The passing of a Wool Industry Legend

Mr. Botes (still can't call you "Chris", even now), or as you were more fondly known, "Baas Chris", may you rest in peace. There are hundreds of people thinking of you today, and we will miss you.

Carolien, Hein, Liezel, Teressa and the rest of the family, we want to send you our heart-felt condolence. Chris was truly a legend in the industry and will be fondly remembered. How fitting that he was able to attend IWTO in Cape Town with some close friends just last week.

Karla turns 14!

Happy Birthday Karla! Jitte my lief, jy moet nou stadiger groot word! 

Karla's birthday yesterday was relatively low-key, mainly because it was a school day and then last night we had to go to Eugene's footy club (Kardinya Kats) to get some of his kit. It is amazing just how cool it was last night; ...not that dissimilar to Napier in NZ at all.
