House, braai and kids - A mixed post

Just some photo's from the last week. Some of the new house, the (gas) Weber and the kids. The house is now at "lock-up", so is getting there. The gas Weber has resulted in some of my mates accusing me of "going through a phase", hoping I return to wood & heat-beads soon, hehe! We'll see, but man, the gas is quick and works so well! Eisch!!

Yes, we get "boerrie" here, and it is good too. Normally we get it from Mufasa's (Gerhard),
but Karin was in town for something else, so just dropped in.

Just about the only meat we braai; lamb rumps. "Heavy lekker!!"

My favorite. I drink the light version, which is 2.7% alcohol.

Hey, what could be better? Chops, wors and mielies...Alles is mooi!
The kitchen and dining area, with the bench tops now being fitted.
The walls have also had their first coat of sealer paint, over the white lime render.

Front door in, but outside it still looks the same.
The Bann family got their PR this week! Awesome!

Karla did really well at school this semester. Well done angel! X

Putting up the communal Christmas Tree at Petie and Mariaan's place

As you know we are currently living in a small rental while our house is being built. Also, our circle of friends are all catching up for a braai and a (large :-) ) meal at Petie's place on Christmas day. They invited us over today to quickly help put up the tree, and here are some pictures.

Can't wait for the short break over the festive season.

The "team" who decorated the tree.

...but the "manne" did most of the work, while the girls drank tea...

Philip, MC and Petie hard at work.

Karla adding some feminine touches; thanks love! X

All MC wanted to do was put up the balls.

The end result.
Now the clock is ticking for the Neumann, Hess, Ludick, van Rensburg and Bann families
to put some prezzies below the tree and to thank God for all he does for us.

Philip and MC visiting Eugene

Petie and Mariaan went out for Gerhard's birthday party last night, so we looked after Philip and MC until they came home.

Having 3 boys in the house is MUCh easier than just one....oh, wait, I'm mistaken! You have to keep your wits about you, haha!

Building Lego in the cubby-house; a free "tent" Karla got for them at Cotton On.
Amazing to see in South Africa they are sold for ZAR380!!! Crickey.

Eugene and MC with IKEA electric candles...Eugene's blue toenails are thanks to Karla (who else?)

They wanted to take a "spooky" photo.

50 cent McDonalds ice-cream anyone? A small sugar rush before we watched "Guardians of the Galaxy".

Brothers being silly :-)

...but the end result is the same...sleeping like a bear in hibernation.
