F104 Racing chassis - The Build in picture

So, I started building the chassis kit last night, and ~11 hours later it is built, running and painted. So, now all that remains is to race it in "anger". Can't wait. The colour-scheme is Senna inspired. He was the best after all.

6:10 p.m. Friday night, before the fun began.
6:41 p.m. - Prep all done, carbon-fiber chassis edges done and bag-A ready to be opened.
8:21 p.m. - Drive-train installed, rear-suspension done aside from the friction pads and oil-shock.
Both wing sets are also on and the front suspension is taking shape.
10:51 p.m. - Front suspension done and electrics almost complete. Steering system also 80% done.

Testing @ 11:55 p.m. - Phew! ...but not finished just yet. Two-and-a-half hours to go....

2:13 a.m. - Body cut out and everything just about where I wanted it before going to lala-land...at this point my back was breaking,
my arse was aching and my eyes were on fire. The things we do for the love of motorsport!
4:21 p.m., Saturday - All done (well, almost). Looks good. Now, to get some scratched and dents into it on Wednesday, when there will be a shake-down
race at the club. First official points race is on 29th April. I have 3 sets of tyres, with 2 more compound on the way from Hong Kong.

Kalgoorlie Road Trip gallery

Hi all. Been a while since I posted here, but things have been hectic. We travelled East to Kalgoorlie over the Easter Weekend. I have posted some pictures on my web-site here.

Here is a sample for you...
