| Just as the Dawn Service started. A beautiful, cool morning. There were thousands of people. It took me 20 minutes to find parking, and a steep walk to get here. |

| People heading home at the conclusion of proceedings. The sky had turned gray as if in recognition of the men and women lost during the wars. |

| Families and returned service men looking at the numerous wreath's laid this morning. A poignant reminder of lives lost on both sides. Part of the rememberance is also for Australians who died in the Boer War, fighting my forefathers. |
