ANZAC Dawn Service - Monument Hill War Memorial, Fremantle

Just as the Dawn Service started. A beautiful, cool morning. There were thousands of people.
It took me 20 minutes to find parking, and a steep walk to get here.

People heading home at the conclusion of proceedings.
The sky had turned gray as if in recognition of the men and women lost during the wars.

Families and returned service men looking at the numerous wreath's laid this morning.
A poignant reminder of lives lost on both sides. Part of the rememberance is also for
Australians who died in the Boer War, fighting my forefathers.

The Port of Fremantle viewed from Monument Hill War Memorial.

A parting shot looking towards sunrise.
