Port of Freo & Oberon Class submarine

Heading into Freo on the Blue Cat (free) bus.
Immigrants like us, but from many years ago, and without their parents. Scary stuff!

The entrance of the port, with the Rottnest Island ferry returning from the island.

A spectacular glass artwork showing a whale-shark.
Wish I could have it on the wall at home.

An old, decommissioned crane at the port entrance.

"Ocean Drover", one of the life export ships that operate from the port of Fremantle.

Some Cormorants enjoying the warming sunshine.

Gino, our beautiful boy.

The Oberon Class submarine at the maritime museum.

A cut-away showing the torpedo tubes and doors as used on the Oberon sub's.
