Relaxed weekend and Jarrahdale part II

Bok & Pop at Bib and Tucker, celebrating Sandri's 24th birthday, before her return home for a while (NZ).
Karla & Scott, also at Bib and Tucker.

On Sunday we trekked inland to feed the birds at Serpentine Dam, before heading to Jarrahdale (and more specifically the local Tav) for lunch. Great spot, and like Saturday, perfect weather for it too. Karla had not been off on a Sunday for many weeks, so we decided to make good use of the day (despite her grumblings...)

The brekkie stop on Sunday...homemade, no doubt VERY healthy, sausage rolls...as tasty as they come!

A nice close-up of a Magpie. Tame and very inquisitive.

The Ringneck's are also very tame, and eat out of your hands. I guess we've now become true Aussies, as this is
no longer a strange sight to us. In the early years at was weird to see these flying around everywhere (as opposed to in pet shops in RSA).

A beautiful (male) Scarlet Robin. Taken at ~300mm (35mm equiv) on the Canon.

Another beauty, and Karin's favourite, a Laughing Kookaburra.
