Winter Cadac braai at Point Walter

We spent most of the day at Point Walter today, and had a great time. Sunny weather and only a mild breeze. We threw some patties, bacon and Mufasa cocktail boerewors on the skottel, and it tasted good.

We even tried to catch a fish or two, but no go. In the end Eugene, Philip and MP were "fishing" with nothing but sinkers on the line, basically practising their casting skills.

Gene helping dad load the bakkie with the bits and pieces...and I got a love-heart!

Our spot on the banks of the Swan River. Awesome!

A wider angle view.

Starting the cook-up.

Briar, Mariaan and Ouma enjoying some snacks and each others company.

Mmmm! Look at that!

Oom Greg with a big "fish" on...

Gene just about bending the crank on the reel while winding in the line, haha.
